A new sketchbook

I got a new sketchbook from Barnes and Noble a few months back. This girl came to my booth and asked me to draw in her sketchbook and I was admiring the pattern. She told me she got it at Barnes and Noble so I went out that night to get the same one!

I love it dearly. I try really hard to draw in it every night but does not happen. Id say some nights I like to draw in it.

My Nanolitas!

Going to these cons I have been seeing a lot of girls dressing up in cute lolita costumes. Since I am drawing in my sketchbook at the cons I started to draw cute lolita girls...I call them My Nanolitas!

Obessing about crocheting

I have been obsessing about crochet amigurumis!!! I had a hard time learning because I could never find a book that taught left hand folks like me! So I finally took a class and they taught me but the teacher was right handed so I learned it the right hand way.

Here is my first crocheted octopus. He has even got 8 legs. Next to my favorite rad red mug

.
Next one is for my sister in law. She just had a baby and wanted a pink elephant. I just realized it is not baby proof. I should of made the eyes with felt so maybe next time.

Weekend in Napa

Last Month Tim and I went to Napa. It was a weekend of gluttony. We consumed really really REALLY good food and wine. This was our weekend plan

Friday Night - Bouchon Cafe
Saturday Day - Yountville Festival
Saturday Night - Cave Dinner at one of the wineries. It was a 6 course meal and each meal was paired w/a wine. We sat next to the Wine Owner himself.
Sunday - French Laundry. Yep you heard it right! I was able to score reservations at the French Laundry.

The place we stayed was wonderful was well. In the morning they deliver fresh bread and goodies from the Bouchon Bakery.

Here are our images posted on picasa

Survived Emerald City Comic Con

Survived Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle. Seattle is such a wonderful place. It kinda reminds me of home-San Francisco.

We went to the famous fish market. Unfortunately it was closed but did get to eat some oysters and fish for dinner....mmmmmm

Here is a pic of my booth. Sorry I am slouching because I got a new low chair because the original one was broken.

Here is kid w/the best Hell Boy Costume I have seen in a long time. My booth in the back.
