Halloween Witch

A new Halloween print. I think as a child I always loved dressing up as a witch. The fact the idea of witches can cast spells and brew poison sounds really awesome.

I love October

I love October. It has to be my favorite month. The weather starts to get cooler and best of all...Halloween. I love Halloween and now that I have kids, we have a lot of fun.

October is also the month I celebrate my wedding anniversary and my Nanamation Anniversary. I have been making Nanamation art for about 9 years now!

Cactus Plants

With the California drought - I have been selecting more plants that require less water - like the cactus. Here is a new one that I recently purchased. I love looking at them and love drawing cute pictures of them.

Life is meant to fall apart sometimes...

When I pick up my son from school - he is always happy to see me but there are times when he is really sad. It breaks my heart and as a mother, I wish I could protect him from everything. I know I cant so I created these to explain to him that things happen and in the end its gonna be OK.

New prints

A few new prints I completed. I'll have these prints on sale at Jpop this weekend in San Francisco. Please remember that all my prints are limited so once I reach a certain number then I retire them.

JPOP Summit August 8 and 9

For my Husband...

Sometimes I feel like I am being forgotten

My son asked me what the heck this was. I said it was a phone. He said it was not because my phone was in my pocket. So sad. I feel for you Mr. Telephone. Somedays I feel like you. 

New Artwork - The Toothfairy

I dedicate this one to my son - who lost his first tooth. Surprising he didn't ask about what the Toothfairy does with all the teeth she collects. He was more concerned with letting his first tooth go. Oh well.

I told my son basically the Toothfairy collects all the teeth (all the clean and well taken care of teeth...hey we gotta practice good hygiene) and has a special machine where she mixes that w/some glitter.  Then POOF - you make fairy dust. Thats how fairies fly.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone had a good Holiday in 2014 and hope 2015 will be great for you all.

My New Year resolution this year is to def. make more artwork. I started working this year so that plus my family has been taking up most of my time. Its not a bad thing but I don't have much time for artwork. Hoping I can change that this year.

Maleficent

I am looking forward to the new Maleficent movie coming out. It looks kinda terrible but HEY it has Angelina Jolie in it. 

Cleopatra

I am fascinated with Cleopatra. Well...I am more fascinated with the Elizabeth Taylor Cleopatra. I just love her costumes that she wore in the movies!

Wedding Characters

I did this one a while back but it was a Save The Date card for my brother and sister-in-law. Their wedding was beautiful. They wanted a vintage like feel to it. Also their wedding were pastel. I just wanted to share this.

Thailand is definitely one place I would love to visit one day. The culture is so beautiful.

My son and I talk about Superheroes a lot. Like A LOT. So here is one for today. Superwoman. I wonder if she has kids of her own?

Breaking Bad

When my son makes art either at preschool or at home, I love to put it up. I call it "fridge art" because that's where it goes. We don't actually put it on the fridge but I have a magnet wall in the kitchen. My son asked if I wanted to contribute something to the "fridge art". So I drew this. I though it was appropriate.  Besides I miss Breaking Bad. It was a damn good show and had a good ending to it. Walter White lives on!!!
