It's almost time for San Diego Comic Con. I will at my same spot as always - F-11/between Halls A and B1. Its towards the back by the Game section of the Hall.

Getting read for San Diego Comic Con and Silicon Valley Comic Con

I have two big shows coming up which are San Diego Comic Con July and Silicon Valley Comic Con in August. They are my two big shows I do in the summer. Now that my kids school and volunteer work is over - I can go on full steam on prepping and making artwork. Here are few postcard and button set I have been working on for the show.

My next set of shows for 2019

I won't be at WonderCon in Anaheim this year but will try to make it 2020! This year my next set of shows will be at San Diego Comic Con in July and Silicon Valley Comic Con in August. I am sure I will add a few more local shows but thats pretty much my big ones I am confirmed for. 

I will always have my small mini originals at the shows to purchase. This year I am limiting my number of shows so I can focus on some techniques. As an artist I always want to grow and get better at my skills. Its always about self discovery and journey of learning new things. 

Look back at 2018 and looking forward to 2019

 I am not really sure what to say about 2018 year, but I know it went by fast for sure!  I always have that feeling that I wish I could have done more shows, more artwork and more of everything, but with the family in tow and making sure my kids are on track with their life - I am happy and grateful on the shows I got to do this year. 

I am looking forward to 2019!

October and Upcoming projects

October flew by so quickly but I managed to participate in Inktober, where I do one drawing a day for the whole month of October. You can view them all on my Instagram account but here are few ones that I enjoyed!

For the rest of what is left in 2018 - I'll be getting ready for my holiday show that is coming up in December at San Jose Made.  I wanted to do some unique cards so here are few things I brainstormed. Its just been a really busy few months. I also volunteer my time at my kids school so with that, plus my art -its been pretty hectic. Time flies so quickly! I wish it slowed down just a tad! 

Comic Con 2018!

Comic Con San Diego 2018 was yet another amazing show! I am always so grateful and appreciate it all. Looking forward for next year so back to the drawing board.

I will be posting rest of my con stuff sometime next week so will be posting that info in a few weeks!

Q&A with Temple of Geek

Gearing up for San Diego Comic Con this month so I am exhausted and excited at the same time.

I talk about how I got started with this whole art thing and going to cons. Also I talk a bit about balancing my passion (art) and motherhood. It's really tough and I think the key is to find a good balance. Yes, I can't do much as I wanted but I am ok with that!

July is the busy month

July is here and it's definitely one of my busier months. Kids are out of school and its San Diego Comic Con happens in the middle.

I am looking forward to next month when the kids go back to school and things slow down for me.

I also been keeping myself busy and prepping for my shows. I feel a bit more confident in my watercolor/painting skills. It almost makes me miss digital work that I have been ignoring all year. After comic con - I may have to go back to doing some digital work. It's good to have a balance.

Sorry for the lack of Blog Post

I usually tap into my Instagram that I forget about my BLOG updates. I like having my blog but I am going to try to be more diligent about it.

Ok - so April was Silicon Valley Comic Con. It was a great show and I got a corner booth upgrade! 

Next year 2019 Silicon Valley will be in August! So I will be returning! Thank you all for coming and hope to see you next year.

My next big show is San Diego Comic Con. This year I hope to bring a lot more originals and less prints. I feel like when I go to these shows - I am looking for more originals so I hope to be offering more originals and less prints. 

WonderCon 2018

My first convention for 2018! I'll be returning another year for WonderCon in Anaheim. If you are going or around hope to see you there! 

This year I got a smaller table down over by Artist Alley. Its just me working this show so smaller table is easy for me to manage alone.

Happy 2018!

Happy 2018 everyone! I am not sure what 2018 will bring but I have pretty much the same goals as last year. Just keep working on my art and hope to improve my skills.

As for shows and cons - I just play that one by ear. Its hard with the kids schedule but I try to do what I can. Here is last year shows. This year I will be at Silicon Valley and Comic Con San Diego for sure. I am on the waitlist for Wondercon. I am hoping to find some more local craft shows but we will see how things go!

Inktober!

My first year doing Inktober and I actually kept up with it. I was a few days behind but managed to do it all! You can catch all of them on my instagram and facebook account.

Returning to WonderGround Gallery!

I will be returning to Wonderground Gallery in Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort for the month of August. I will be making two appearances from August 5-6 from 2-5 pm and August 26-27 from 2-5pm. Hope to see you there. The gallery is not inside the park and it's free to get to the gallery.  So grateful for this opportunity! 

Comic Con San Diego 2017!

San Diego Comic Con 2017 was great and crazy as always. A lot of my photos are posted on my Instagram and FaceBook account so please check them out!

Here is a picture of my table and its the same usual spot F-11. This year I brought with me my watercolors. Its something new I have been working on. I have done digital work for a long time that I wanted to go back to painting. It just feels more organic. I won't be giving up digital work but its a good balance.  I'll be back next year! Thank you all who came out and said hello. Its always nice to see familiar faces. Its also great to meet new people.

Summer and Fall!

I recently just got back from my London and Paris Family trip and have a big of jet lag. Yesterday night I was up for a couple hours so decided to finish up Summer and Fall to complete my 4 Seasons.

New Winter

I will be retiring a lot of prints end of this year. My digital style has changed and grown that when I look at older art its hard to identify myself with it. Its a good thing because I can see how much I have grown!

Also I started to watercolor and its been great. Its still a learning curve for me but I feel I am getting better at it.

Getting ready for Comic Con!

Sorry for the delayed posts. Instagram and Facebook are places that I post on a regular basis that I tend to ignore my blog. 

The only thing I can report is I am getting ready for Comic Con in San Diego. I got some new shirts and prints that I will be bringing of course. Also this year I will have some watercolor prints and originals. Its just something I have been working at and slowly getting my confidence. I don't think I am nearly as where I want it to be but practice makes perfect!
