Next week is Emerald City Comic Con. I am super excited about it the con and just being in Seattle. I have never been to Seattle so excited to check out the city itself. I guess I went when I was small but drove pass Seattle but I don't have any memories of it at all.
I will need to start packing this week.
Here is the link to the con in Seattle. I will be in the Artist Alley - table number B-07.

New Artwork
So here is my new artwork that I took to WonderCon and did really well. A new style. I will post it on my shop for purchase later this week. Its done in illustrator but I finished it off in Photoshop. Photoshop is amazing tool but it still new to me since i use Illustrator more. Then when I saw one of my friends at the show told me that I can do the same stuff I do in Photoshop in Illustrator and that He JUST uses Illustrator. I'll have to go back and retry them. Anyway I have a few more new prints that I am working on. Also I have 3 new sites coming...so stay tune!!!
Bake Craze...
Last week I went on a bake craze. I needed a break from Nanamation and just needed some time to do something else so I baked. I love to bake.
I decided to bake my famous organic apple crumble pie for my co-workers. They came out out great. I am really proud of my pies..I worked hard to perfect the pie recipe and I am happy to say I have mastered the art of making pies. This is an apple crumble so no pie crust on top...its just crumbles. I also brought some Mitchell's Vanilla Ice Cream to go with it.
Next my friend had a baby so I wanted to make her a basket full of goodies. So I baked chewy chocolate chip cookies..it was thick and chewy. The secret? You take them out while its still kinda doughy in the middle and let it back on the hot cookiesheet. Also its a different recipe than the thin crispy ones.
I also baked some buttered Spritz cookies. To get the fun shape I used my icing container pipe. One of these days I am going to invest in one of those nice Ateco Piping bag and tips. Its on my amazon wishlist to remind myself to get them. I think I'll purchase them soon. I am dying to make cupcakes again. And I also made raisin/cinnamon bread from my lovely bread maker.

WonderCon 2009
I survived Wondercon 2009. It was truly an awesome and great show. I saw a lot of folks and made some great sales. I sold out of my new print and I had to make a trip back home to pick up a few more designs because I ran out midday on Sat. I'll post it later but I'll need to restock on the new designs and will be available to purchase on site. It was just crazy busy on Saturday! Sorry to those folks that tried to chat w/me when I was weeerking the booth.
Here is a pic of my booth this year. Sorry didn't have a camera so iphone had to do. Click the image to view it large.
